Final Project – Planning

  1. A brief description of the site you want to create.

I intend to make a satire store website with random and humorous products, with photoshopped images as my pretend merchandise. The site shall be called “Earth’s Most Greatly Amazing Stuff”, to obviously exaggerate itself.

  1. Three similar web site addresses.

https://trashyclothing.shop/pages/about – A satire shopping site. (Products are real but pricey.)

https://glitchproductions.store/ – An store with the look and feel I’m going for. (Products are real.)

https://www.fangamer.com/ – Another example of my intentions. (Again, products are real.)

  1. List of site goals and the website’s purpose statement.

Site goals:

Make people laugh

Showcase my crummy photoshop abilities

Be good enough for a nice grade on my final project

Site purpose statement:

“Here at Earth’s Most Greatly Amazing Stuff Co., we wish to produce the finest products of any sort ever made. Seeing as we have no qualifications to do that, we instead plan to pretend like we have, and present our ideas via poor photoshop.”

  1. Target audience information.

The target audience would be anyone looking for a laugh, though I would probably only be able to amuse a younger audience, given my age. A younger male audience, given my experience with having brothers.

  1. Define your website’s color scheme, page layouts. Use paleton.com to determine color schemas, submit screenshots of your selection.

Color scheme will be light, with teal and bronze-ish red as the colors. Using a complementary scheme, it will be simplistic, and less complicated than the ones I’ve used before.

f. Create a Storyboard or wireframe (handwritten photographed or digital format) of the website, the site navigation and page connectivity.
