Royalty-Free Music – A Brief Mediocre Analysis

What makes music happy sounding?

Today, I will be analyzing an amount of this royalty-free track and pondering aloud what makes it seem joyful.

The instruments that I can hear in this tune include a ukelele, the occasional cymbal, plenty of whistling, on-beat snaps, and eventual… bells, are those? Most of these are very organic, human sounds, with the bells setting themselves apart by being more magical-sounding.

Not being a music expert, (this post is mostly just to test the audio feature of WordPress, to be honest,) I cannot deduce the key, so I will not try. However, it certainly doesn’t sound like any minor set, so that certainly contributes to the vibe.

The absolute lack of sharp noises makes the melody peaceful and unaggravated, and the simple rises and falls of the cymbal sound like waves. Between that and the ukelele, it could almost remind you of an island paradise. Is happiness just Hawaii? (Laugh track)

Yeah, I don’t really know what else to say here.

Bye.
